More Food

Today my other buddy, Leia, took me out for lunch. I am so grateful that everyone wants to show me a traditional Brazilian good time so we went to a churrascaria, or Brazilian steakhouse. We ended up going to Fogo de Choa, which is kinda funny considering there is one on LaSalle in Chicago, not to mention I kept having flashbacks of discussing their unique brand in marketing with Bryan and Mike.

The food was really good but there was a lot of meat. Now, I consider myself a carnivore and a big fan of red meat, but that was a lot of meat. I tried to break it up a little with the amazing salad bar and these awesome rolls called pao de queijo, or cheese bread. I recommend them highly and I think even Danny Burns, famous hater of cheese, would enjoy them. I also loved how the salad bar just had various bowls of garlic and a giant wheel of cheese that was cut in half and you could just pick up chucks from inside.

A lightbulb went off in my head when I realized that this was the "gaucho" way of cooking meat and all the waiters were wearing gaucho pants. You learn something new everyday. Feel free to impress your friends and throw that fun fact out at parties.
